Relationship Counselling
Relationship counseling is a therapeutic process designed to help couples navigate challenges, improve communication, and strengthen their connection. Whether facing specific issues or seeking to enhance overall relationship dynamics, couples turn to relationship counseling for guidance and support.
In relationship counseling sessions, our trained counsellors provide a safe and neutral space for couples to explore their concerns, express emotions, and work towards solutions. The process often involves open dialogue, where couples can discuss their feelings, identify patterns of interaction, and gain insights into the root causes of conflicts. Counsellors assist in developing effective communication skills, fostering understanding, and promoting empathy between partners.

Relationship counselling is not solely reserved for couples in crisis; many seek its benefits for proactive maintenance and improvement of their relationships. It provides a supportive environment to strengthen the emotional bond, deepen intimacy, and develop strategies for navigating life's challenges together.

Counselling can also help couples navigate the potential ending of a relationship in an amicable and supportive environment.

We currently provide our sessions using several counsellors and provide both in person appointments and virtual appointments.

Currently we are incredibly proud to provide our counselling sessions free of charge for the Shetland public.
